Tibetan Sand Mandala Exhibition
Tashi Lhunpo Monks
Exhibition
From the Tantric tradition of Tibetan Buddhism comes the unique art of the Sand Mandala. The intricate pattern is made of millions of grains of coloured 'sand', representing the abode of the Buddhas. Once completed, the mandala is destroyed, releasing the Buddhas to return to their own realms.
